RE-LIEF CORP.

About us

Welcome to Re-lief Corp. is a 501c3 organization. We are a humanitarian relief organization focused on assisting the community of San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico from all walks of life, with relief efforts after a crisis hits. Also helping the Finger Lakes region.

How we started? After Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico in 2017, we organized relief efforts, with supplies donated from our local communities, to assist the impacted communities in Puerto Rico. It was then that we realized the importance of working together for a better community and a better world.

Climate change is also very important to us. We want to work together to help our planet.

Our projects are going to be working to help the climate either by growing more trees, getting clean water, solar power and more.

PORTABLE SOLAR ENERGY CAN SAVE LIVES.

After a natural disaster we had lost many lives because of no power. Re-lief will continue working on how to help people breath thru their CPAP machines, breathing treatments and keeping their medication cold, that needs to be refrigerated. At the same time helping the environment by using solar and connecting this equipments to solar as a source of energy.

Testimonials

Untitled

Wanda and Dawn came to the Bahamas to bring supplies, and our team was overwhelmed by the number of large, full bags they brought and what they managed to fit in them. There were school bags with supplies for children, toiletries, and other items we could not seem to keep in high enough quantities. Not only did they come with much-needed supplies, but they came prepared to work. They came with a level and type of empathy and care that is necessary to for relief that goes beyond immediate material needs. There was nothing they weren't willing to do, from hauling boxes around and taking inventory to packing food boxes and entertaining children as they waited for their parents to be assisted. They have high spirits and good hearts, and we know we will be lifelong friends.

Untitled

Wandy, Dawn do not live in PR, but a few hours after the earthquake they were already planning how to get there and together with Carlos before most of us reacted to the news he was already here.  In fact, so far from the Emergency Department, they has come twice and carrying everything they can like so many other Puerto Ricans have done from anonymity, but I cannot leave without counting what this particular donation means to me personally.  This high-tech inverter battery means that together with the plant donated by Dr Jaen we can work self-sustainably in extreme situations, running the computer or charging a cell phone 15 times or having high-power light, a portable respiratory therapy machine, or a defibrillator monitor or a machine.  CPAP for an Apnea patient ... in which we turn on the plant ... It means that in quiet time we can give a movie in a children's camp, or feed a satellite internet to be triangulated ... Thank Heaven and also to you  !
